I have with me today my wonderful friend and awesome new author Grace Ryles. Please make her welcome as she shares her new book Second Chance at Love with you.
Grace Ryles currently lives in Orlando, Florida with her beloved husband. Originally from New York, Grace grew up fast and learned a lot of truths at a young age. Early on, she realized the escape that books could give her from a world that was less than understanding. As a teenager, Grace began writing stories inspired by her environment and her favorite authors. Though she never attempted to publish them, writing became a new escape, one where she could create the perfect ending for the underdog. Grace’s stories always had a common factor. The end result was always an HEA. Writing took a back burner as life intruded but reading always remained as a deep passion. It wasn’t until reading her first ménage, Divine Grace by Heather Rainier, that she discovered the love of polyamorous relationships. Her writing sprang back to life and that’s when Second Chance at Love was created, displaying her love for the polyamory lifestyle.
Here’s her new book
Amidst a harrowing past can one woman find the strength to start again with not one but two men? For the first time in six years Kylie Jansen is free. For six years she lived in abject fear of a man who was supposed to love her. Finally able to breathe again Kylie finds herself at a crossroads.
Should she swear off men for good or should she give the two brothers who make her feel more than she has ever felt before a chance?
Trent and Jaxson Andrews are tired of living the bachelor’s life. One look from the entrance of a crowded diner, and Trent and Jaxson are hooked. Now the real test starts. Having found their woman, they have to come together to make her realize that trusting not one but both of them and taking second chance at love is what she needs to heal her heart.
Kylie woke on a beautiful Saturday morning. It had been a little more than a week since she first had dinner with both Trent and Jaxson. They both continued to stop by the diner and flirt outrageously with her. Since then she had dinner with them a couple of more times. She was beginning to depend on their presence. Just the other day, she received a bouquet of roses and a card with her favorite poem. She didn’t know which brother sent the roses but she loved them so dearly. She turned in her bed and looked at the beautiful red roses. They looked so vibrant, sort of how her future seemed at this moment. Today she wasn’t scheduled to be in the diner and Trent jumped at the opportunity to have a one-on-one date with her since Jaxson was working in the fire station. He wouldn’t tell her what he planned but she was excited to be spending the day with him.
She was growing more and more attached to them and she worried if they returned her feelings. At first she wasn’t sure if she could want another relationship after her last fiasco, but after the last month here in Grand Oak she knew it was time to let go of her past and start to make a future. She was ready to take their relationship to the next level and that meant sex. God, she hoped they would make love to her soon. She waited for their advances to start as they sat on the couch and watched the movie that first night she was at their house, but it never came. She even trusted them enough to fall asleep in their house and trust them to be respectable. When she awoke the next day, Jaxson had dropped her back at the motel and gave her a quick kiss to the lips and made her promise to see them again.
Over the last week they had begun to get more intimate with their touches and kisses. Just last night, before Jaxson had to leave to go to the fire station, he pulled her close to his body and kissed the hell out of her, and by the time he let go she was drowning in arousal. She thought he would take her there in the foyer. His hands were all over her body, touching her breasts, ass, and caressing her face. She’d felt his arousal underneath his uniform and itched to grab his cock, stroke it until he gave her his cum. Oh God, her channel contracted with the thoughts of that passionate encounter. She couldn’t wait to have more of them.
Trent was no better. He would touch her all the time. Whenever she was at their house, he would make sure to be near her just to touch her. His touch was setting her on fire and she didn’t know how to make them go faster and take her. She wondered if she could take matters into her own hands and seduce Trent today wherever they were going. Just the thought of his muscular arms wrapped around her as he penetrated her with his huge cock was nearly enough to send her into an orgasm. Her bedside phone took that opportunity to ring.
“Good morning, beautiful. How did you sleep?” Trent’s masculine voice came through the speakers.
“I slept like a baby! I am so excited for today.” She couldn’t hold back her joy
“I’m glad to hear that, baby girl. I am on my way to the motel now to get you. Do you think you’ll be ready by the time I get there?”
“What time is it now?” She thought they were meeting at ten.
“It’s nine thirty. I was just finishing packing up the truck and heading out that way to get you.”
“Shit! I overslept.”
“Don’t worry, I’m going to stop by Sally’s and get us some coffee and then I’ll be there. There’s no rush, we have all day.” Trent’s voice sounded so happy.
Kylie smiled. “That sounds perfect. Thank you, Trent, can’t wait till you get here.”
They hung up the phone after a couple of more minutes. Since she had more time to laze around before Trent got there she decided to call Jaxson’s cell phone and see how he was doing.
“This is Jaxson.” A deep baritone voice sounded in her ear.
“Jax, it’s Kylie. Umm…” Damn her brain, she still sounded so scared.
“Kylie angel, is everything all right?” Jaxson sounded worried and that helped her get her brain back in working order.
“Oh yes, I just wanted to say good morning and that I’ll miss you today.”
“Angel,” he breathed deep into the phone. “That one little sentence just made my entire day, thank you.”
She could hear the emotion in his voice and was glad that she had the courage to call him and tell him that she would miss him while he was working. “Anytime, big man. I’ll see you after work, though, right?” Jaxson chuckled before he spoke.
“Of course, sweetheart. I’ll be counting the hours until then. Have fun with Trent today, okay?”
Feeling better than she had her entire life, Kylie got up and went into the shower. She couldn’t believe the changes she had undergone since she’d been in town. Fifteen minutes later she was dressed and ready for the day. She lay back on the bed and closed her eyes to wait until Trent arrived.

Trent couldn’t believe the transformation in Kylie. She went from being such a shy woman to blossoming like a flower. She sounded so happy this morning and he wondered if they had finally gotten to a point that she would open up and share her story with them. Though she’d made such a big change, she still held back details of her past and she never talked about speaking with her family, though she said she adored them dearly. He wondered what would keep her from contacting her family. Maybe tonight when they went back to the house for dinner both he and Jaxson could break down the rest of her walls.
He remembered the last week with such fondness. He was falling deeply in love with Kylie and only hoped she felt the same way. He could see her attraction and each day he could see her arousal for them, but he wouldn’t push her until she was ready, and she wouldn’t be ready until they finally had broken down her tightly held control.
Still, despite her holding back, he was genuinely happy for the first time in his life. She brought so much to their relationship and she didn’t realize what that meant to both him and Jaxson. As he drove to Sally’s to pick up the coffee, he remembered a couple of nights ago how they sat on the couch. They had just finished with dinner and decided to get comfortable on the couch and talk. Talking soon turned into kissing and petting. He remembered how wonderful she felt in his arms as he kissed and touched her body. She was getting closer and closer to accepting them and he couldn’t hold back his delight.
Walking into the diner he ordered their drinks and went over to say hi to Sally.
“Hello, Sally, working hard today?”
“Trent, well as a matter of fact I am. Since you seem to be keeping my waitress busy today, I have to work the customers.”
Trent’d never blushed until today. “Yeah, I have something really special planned today.”
“I’m glad to hear that you both are treating her right. She has glowed with happiness these last couple of weeks and I think that’s because of both you and Jaxson.”
Amber walked over to where they were conversing to hand him his orders, just as he told Sally what he had planned for Kylie.
“Why don’t you drop her and come get with me, handsome? I surely miss both you and Jax.” Amber’s request pissed him off but before he could say anything Sally took over.
“Listen, Amber, you may be a great waitress, but if I ever hear you try to proposition a taken man again I will fire you. How would you like to have your man or men approached by another hungry female? I am sure you wouldn’t like it.”
Amber had the good notion to look sheepish. “I’m sorry, Sally, it’s just that I planned to have them for myself and Kylie went ahead and stole them from me.”
Trent didn’t wait for Sally to reply. Instead he told her, “Amber, I understand that you may have wanted something more from our ‘relationship’ but we were just casual. I am sorry if we led you to believe there was more to it than that. We are both involved with Kylie and would prefer for you not to jeopardize our relationship with your come-ons.”
Amber sighed. “Neither you nor Jax have ever led me on. I am sorry for the way I just acted.” With that she left and went behind the counter. Trent said his good-byes and headed to pick up his girl.

Jaxson hung up with Kylie with a great big smile on his face. He was in love and he couldn’t wait till he was able to tell his woman how he felt. He knew she was getting closer to accepting both him and Trent. She was a wonderful woman and so passionate. She kissed the way he knew making love between them would be, all fire and passion. When they first met her she would have never had the courage to call him and tell him that she missed them or showed any outward emotion toward them.
Taking his mind off his woman so that he could get some actual work done instead of trying to calm his raging hard-on, he focused on the paperwork on his desk. The arsonist was still at large and he was growing tired and he knew it was matter of time before he started another fire. Suddenly the fire alarms went off in the fire station. He went and reached for his receiver to get the location and circumstances of the fire.
His heart lurched in his chest.
